Don't make $3000 claims, eat those or you'll pay more than that next year when your rates go up. If you aren't making $3000 claims then don't have a $1000 deductible.
If you have a $10,000 deductible then you likely don't want to be making those $15,000 claims for the same reason. If you are running a $250,000 tractor with a $10,000 deductible it isn't as much compared to a $10,000 deductible on a older $30,000 tractor. Everybody has to figure out what works best for them and hope to never need to use it. |
