NC KS | I placed a couple of ads in the Classified section. I received the typical scammer text-no questions about the item, just wanted to know where to send the cashier's check to. His shipper would get it after the check cleared. He was several states away. I asked if he knew it was very wide and long to haul. Didn't bother him. Texted a picture of a Georgia driver's license with the real id star. Texting ended when I said to send cash with the driver.
Driver's license picture surprised me. Certainly added some legitimacy to the story.
Same ads on Facebook and got a scammer wanting to Zelle or Venmo the money to me and her brother would pickup later. I told her to Zelle or Venmo her brother and he brings the cash to me. End of that one also. Didn't think Facebook had those scammers as bad as here.
