Let's assume the field cultivator has a useful life of 200 hours per year for 10 years or 2000 hours. Then depreciation will be 5% of purchase price per 100 hours of use.
Also, let's assume that repairs during these 2000 hours of use will be equal to the purchase price. Then repairs will be 5% of purchase price per 100 hours of use.
By the way, that is $1.00 per hour per $1,000.00 of purchase price.
