Rated lift capacity and tip capacity are two things to look for on a machine. Tracks will have higher tip capacity for similar rated capacity more often than not.
For lift and carry, you might want a ride control or cushioning of the workgroup on the machine. Amazing the difference it makes even on non-suspended machines.
