I don’t know the condition of your truck but the 2006-07 are possibly the best duramax ever made. I have an 06 and yes I have to put money in it from time to time but has been a good truck. Had to replace a bunch of crossmembers last summer cuz I live in the rust belt but have owned the truck for 17 years now. I plan on another 20 years since trucks are so darn expensive. Cost more than my first house!
