Keep hanging lights and it will get better as you fill in the space. Four lights is not enough to get a true representation hang half the shed then assess. If you do not have interior liner it will not be as bright due to less reflection. Not sure how your motion sensors are going to work. That sounds like a great plan on paper but may cause you more shadows. I would be curious as to how they work once they are all in. I have bee thinking in my own shed of separating some lights off for lower power consumption to not feel so guilty about leaving them on. Thought about light sensors but they can be a pain sometimes. Beam angle of the lights you selected will play a part in shadows. Wider 120 degree angle should be less shadows.
