How fast do you want to pull it? Do you want to be able to shift up and throttle down or run wot all the time? In northeast Mississippi soils a slightly tuned 4630 pulled a 20’ IH 475 in 5th gear very easily. I would speculate that a 4840 could handle almost anything up to 25’. |
