I recently replaced a diesel Ram with a Ram 3500 6.4L Gas. I am not sorry I made the switch. The gas engine doesn’t have the torque in the hills that the diesel had but definitely holds its own.
We pull a 30’ gooseneck with a 12,500LBS skidsteer with no problems. Cost per mile is about the same gas vs diesel.
