| Because twenty years ago they were all built in the USA and weren’t cheap. Now we sell our souls across the borders to buy cheap stuff only to wonder why our small communities suffer when the local entrepreneurs say if you can’t beat them join them and sell out to a corporate conglomerate who brings in management who has no concept of how a business model operates in a small community and then closes up shop and writes off the loss. Without local commerce the towns dry up and the folks with habits move in then your stuff comes up missing so they can get a fix. Probably not the answer you where looking for, but you see that cheap comes at a cost? My haybeds, panels, portable coral, squeeze chute, stock trailers, and flatbed trailers all built in Kansas. I just work a little harder and probably pay a little more in interest but also take pride in supporting my local fabrication manufacturers. Boy that got away from me… | |
