No, it is not all the same. The cheap stuff is only good for single pass welding. E71-T11 is more expensive, but can be used for multi pass. The cheap stuff works, but if you weld another pass over it, it gets brittle and becomes more likely to Crack. Some brands have a reputation of working better, with less splatter.
