If I had to choose, I'd look for a 2577 or 2588. Very simple, essentially the same vintage, and tried and true. Both will handle 8 row heads as well. I feel the 8 row with a 25' platform is an odd combination this guy had.
If clean slate shopping for red, IMO get a midrange. Legacy guts in a new chassis that thank God was not designed by the same person responsible for the legacy chassis. |
