| Wonderfull next door neighbors had big, big paying jobs in the 80's. Wanted to farm, had some land, raised beef but kept their jobs and proceeded to loose money hand over fist. They told everyone they would never get into fights, yell, etc until they started farming. They rented the land out and were much happier but unfortunately they both died young. All I know is there are a lot of people that love to talk about how much they want to farm until there is work to be done. Many have extremely unrealistic dreams of the farming "lifestyle."
Not saying they can't try it but they need to be careful what they wish for... | |
