Pvafarm - 3/11/2026 22:28 The answer has to come from within, meaning the young couple has to decide what is feasible and doable for them. If they can use "spreadsheets" and run scenarios of what's possible then they can make decisions on their future. My suggestion is pick up a copy of FINPACK from the univ of MN and start populating with "what if" scenarios. If I would have listened to many folks on NAT 35 years ago I would be working for some entity in a dead end career. As one poster says, he has a lot of anamosity [sic] due to his decision to farm, but that's his isssue and he cant speak for anyone else. Much of agtalk has singular life experiences that they push as absolute truths to convince others they are right. Again, being right for yourself comes from within.
