| Weather sorta sucked for outside electric work today. Right in the worst of the worst of snowstorm and brisk cold wind to boot.
He pulled the meter and found what he thinks is basic problem of flickering lights. When the huge limb took out all the feeder wires the other guy spliced them together but never pulled the meter. In the meter socket supposed to to be 3 wires going ip and three wires going down to enter basement at top of blocks. The force of the limb pulled the bare center wire up into the mast and he was afraid the rusty screws with his cold hands would worsen the problem. He said I dont use much juice so it will be okay this way. He tried poking it down to no avail.
With the new ground rods its cured the blinking
Should i consider it fixed and wait for the next storm go- around? | |
