South Central IA | I used the shoup ones with bigger pins years ago. It worked ok to tighten it up but I felt like the final position of the guard was slightly off from where it should be. Just a consequence of the "new" holes having a slightly different center than intended.
Does that matter? Not sure. If they're raked back a bit, it probably allows a little more flexion of the openers. I'd install them again if I still had a green planter. | |
