We generally use Harris, or Lincoln wire for more important stuff. Harris is generally about 1/2 price compared to Lincoln, and I’ve had good luck with it.
Something like oilfield pipe, that doesn’t weld well anyway, cheaper wire is fine.
Guys will probably jump on me for saying it, but if you’re welding more dirty rusty stuff, flux core will work better.
Wire for mig welder....is it all the same?
