I just have a 110V miller mig welder. I use .030 wire, old box says 70S-6. No clue what that means. But if I type that into the web there is multiple brands of it on Amazon. I'm sure all from China. Is wire all the same? My box is from Linde, Prostar brand but even in their fine print made in Canada using foreign parts.
70s-6 is standard mild steel wire. I wouldn’t buy Chinese wire, because people tend to have bad luck with it. Also, cheaper wire often comes on plastic spools that can get broken easily and if they break in the wrong spot the whole spool is junk.
