What CF said is unfortunately correct. They need to forget farming until their family situation comes more into focus. They could get cut any day, but probably won't, and if they do there is plenty of demand for good help. The farming game is infinitely more complicated than it used to be, and only a few can survive. A couple that both have good jobs with benefits and retirement would be beyond foolish to start up farming with next to nothing. Makes for a great pipe dream
