| 4000 engine hours. A lot of wear parts have been replaced
In the last 1000 or so hours. It's about 20 years old so the guy
put 200 hours a year on it on average which is typical in my
opinion. As you already indicated the red top has less
problems, I have no experience, but when I've researched
the problems were electrical, but mainly on the blacktop
/earlier 8010s. I almost bought a blacktop last summer for a
second/ backup machine ended up deciding on a much older nh
machine for that which found out after purchase parts
are non existent or ridiculously priced from cnh. I don't think that would be an issue with
an 8010 so that would be another plus. They appear to sell very reasonable. If you don't have the knowledge to inspect
I would recommend a good/ seasoned diesel mechanic inspect
this for you, an engine, transmission, hydraulic pump/motor, and various gearbox failure could get very expensive and eat any chance of profit in a hurry. Starting out you need to gain or maybe
you're already able to do a big share of the repairs yourself. Or
as a wise man once told me it's not what you know, it's who.
