| The last two years my insurance premiums have literally doubled. This was after a six year history of $30,000/ year premiums paid and only $3,000 average of claims in each of those 6 years. That’s a 90% return, I would kill for that kind of return, WTH do these guys want? All the money coming in and zero out? ( reminds me of a family member)…..anyway, I really think I’m far ahead by just insuring for liability anymore. These companies have been pricing themselves out of the market. We as a nation have to help insure the fires in California and Hawaii, the hurricanes on the coasts, everything everywhere while we pay out of pocket for a $3000 claim if we have $1,000 deductible just so we don’t risk having a huge increase or even possibly getting dropped.
I look back and I should have claimed EVERYTHING that went wrong because the only one I was protecting was my insurance company. They jacked me anyway. I already know the answer after looking back ( hindsight is 20/20 I know) but I was just wondering how many people self insure? | |
