Latimer Iowa
Won’t argue with you on harvest logistics. Although the line at Cargill to unload beans has been 2-3 hours for the last month…. So no better then during harvest.

We often fill one of our wet hopper bins during soybean harvest and haul it in to the end user in mornings and rain delays. Or I will fill a storage bin with beans during harvest, wait untill the end of October, and empty it to capture post harvest basis, then refill the bin with the last of the corn to capture basis on two crops a season instead of just one. Makes the bin pay better.

The bin is the tool to capture the basis (and harvest logistics) not to claim it made us money because the board went up. Or down.
