Saronville NE | My boy is going to be 13 next month. He owns cattle in feedlot paid for by himself. Started with a given 4h calf and then just grew from there. I dont charge him feed till he gets over certain head, because that is his pay. Kids a worker, he had some 18 hr days last summer with hay and never complained, actually just opposite. Dsd it needs done ill take care of it. Cattle is about all he talks about.
Add more cows and expand feedlot in future so he can join is plan. Hoping this market settles down a bit before starting that. Takes a pile of cash to stay full presently. | |
