Ne Colorado | Iv seen 3.8-4.10 for hanging price on cattle. Not sure if that’s grass/grain finish. Processing is the killer for a lot of the Byers. 1800 bucks for generic cuts locally on top of that 4$. Not sure if that’s high or average country wide honestly. I’d be curious to know. I hate to see folks struggling to afford beef at these prices when we have lamb I can’t get ride of. It’s a shame. I haven’t ran the numbers in a while, but I would think somewhere around four dollars would be pretty fair!
