Yea I was gonna say probably 90% of stocker calves on wheat pasture in the high plains are on a single hot wire and have water hauled to them. Having a 5 wire fence and/or a permanent water source is living in luxury.
There's probably a little difference in hauling water in Texas vs hauling water in Michigan in the winter.
