I let it go to family and a couple close friends for 4.10.
Even with the kill charge it’s around .75-.80 cents for processing.
Lots of people do freezer beef here, locally I think I’m on the high end. Go an hour or more away and you will start to see 5.50-6. Pretty good money but it don’t sit right with me to bend a person over the barrel that bad.
That being said this is the second year I’ve charged a down payment, $750 for half and $1500 for a whole.. cheap insurance. | |
