Maybe for you. Fence does not exist anywhere up here. But Temporary fence is EASY! I’m not lazy. With a small crew can have 100+ acres fenced in a day and a half

Fence does not exist anywhere up here….

No fence usually means no trees because you take the trees out to take the fence out so you can farm to the property line. Blizzards and wind move cattle. When they push over /through your hot wire, where will they end up? They’ll follow your truck or feedwagon tractor if they’re “broke to it” but you might be trailing them 1/4 mile or 5 miles depending on where they end up….

But, Oldtiger drove the nail. What’s your plan to haul water on a larger scale? Where is the water coming from? How far to haul? Flat tires. Frozen valves. Stuff doesn’t work very well in the cold. Battery fencers included.

And, being single is a blessing when you have to juggle the “inconveniences” that pop up in the cold because it takes 3x as long to get them fixed.

Not saying you’re wrong in seeing the opportunity. But, you’re looking at this opportunity like we view summer pastures…. “Well it has good grass but no fence and no water”. And, then my eyes bug out of my head.

Only your opportunity is in winter and the cold.

I wish you the best.
