It is possible to have a conversation on the phone WITHOUT using the speaker or holding it in front of you like you are sniffing a plate of warm cookies. You look moronic and none of us wants to hear both ends of the conversation.

I'm not young, but this is my biggest complaint too. Seems to be mostly folks my age and older doing this.
