I have a quadring oring that is leaking on a hydraulic pump. The pump is on a skid loader and the quadring is on the shaft that goes to the hand controls for the skid loader. I suspect that I have an extra twist in the quadring that caused the leak. Would it be wrong to replace the quadring with a standard oring? I'm not sure I can get the quadring in right without pulling the pump again.
