I buy 200,000 gallons of fuel a year for my trucking business and farm.
All I have is a 10,000 gal barrel full of farm fuel. My plan is to short crude when the dust settles and hope to add some money back on the way down. I feel it’s too late to try and buy now
As far as fertility, switch acres to beans if you can. Side dress nitrogen late and gamble on prices coming down
On the trucking side you can just charge more to make up for fuel costs tho. Can’t quite do that with commodities. |
