| Just to clear something up since it keeps getting mentioned — I haven’t been banned from this board and I’m not posting under a new name because of a ban.
The only thing even remotely close is that I did have an account years ago when I first started reading here. I barely posted with it and eventually forgot the login credentials. Like a lot of people with older forums, the account just kind of drifted away when I couldn’t remember the password or email tied to it. For a long stretch after that I was mostly just a reader of the board.
When I eventually decided to start posting again, I created the account I’m using now. There’s nothing dramatic behind it — just the normal situation of someone losing the login to an old account and starting fresh later on.
The name that’s been mentioned as the supposed old account is Ted Lasso, but that wasn’t me and I’ve never posted under that name here.
Plenty of people read a board for years before posting, and plenty of people have old accounts they no longer have access to. That’s pretty normal on long-running forums like this one.
