The one doing the farm show circuit also had a completely cab.

Wonder if the one pictured in this post is a test or a customer machine, guessing it will be a spendy unit as well.


The cab at the farmshow was not built heavy enough to meet ROPS requirements and was towed around. The cab was from a Challenger track tractor I think.


So how does one get a cab certified for ROPS when there has not been a tractor completed to date? Is this just an engineering calculation and you pay a licensed engineer to stamp/review your drawing?


I know our cabs have a tag thst say they are certified to a certain standard and weight or use.

A Caterpillar two track weighs what? 50k at most? The new buds fully loaded will be close to double that.

They don't roll a tractor if that is what you are thinking. They send a cab and the plans off to be tested, from my understanding.
