It's asymmetric warfare. It's much easier to break things than to protect them. Iran can send cheap drones all day long if they want, and there's no way we can stop them all. Or they could put a bunch of guys with rocket launchers in the mountains. They spend tens of thousands on drones. We spend millions on interceptors, and if one gets through it blows up a $1b cargo ship.
