| I worked at an independent repair shop for several years and we hated when people would come in with repair insurance. A lot of time was spent on the phone telling the company what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. This would go on for several days to a couple of weeks and in the mean time the customer was yelling to get his car back. I don’t believe there was a case where they paid what they should have. Usually the repair requests were declined and if the were approved the customer paid more than they did.
I would never buy it. Take that money and hide it for when you have a repair. You’ll be money ahead. | |
