| Know a guy who bought a 2017 3.5 eco boost f150 4wd w 70k miles. Paid $2500 for dealer offered extended warranty. He asked me after and I told him I would not buy the warranty, but if it helps you sleep good, then ok. After about 8 months, problems start showing up. Never denied. Cam phasers..twice I think. Turbo. And right before the extended warranty was up, transmission acted up showing metal when oil drained. New transmission covered. Never a hassle. Wish I could remember the name of the insurer. Only time I ever knew of it being as advertised. | |
