NW MO and Eastern Nebr | I used it for the last 8-10 months. It worked well. The "catch" is if the network gets congested, your calls may drop, and your data may slow. I never had that problem. I switched to USMobile DarkStar (uses ATT Towers) because Verizon towers aren't the best in my farm location.
It's kinda complicated, but with US Mobile, you can sign up for any of the 3 carriers (ATT, Verizon,TMobile). They have a Sim card (or an eSim) for each carrier, you chose what carrier. My phone doesn't have eSim capabilities, so I had to get a physical sim mailed to me.
Anywho, it's all about speed, and possibly dropped calls potentially, but, I think the carrier networks are built large enough these days that it's basically a non-issue for 99% of the users.
Visible is Verizon's prepaid. There are a lot of MVNO's that buy time from the 3 carriers US Mobile, Mint, Straighttalk, etc.
Prepaid also doesn't have all the taxes, Post Paid plans do....
Long answer short, If Verizon towers work in your area, Visible is a solid choice.
Some MVNO's will give you a trial for 30 days if you ask. | |
