Central Iowa | They're worth every penny. I had them on my CIH planters for a number of years. I had the Mudsmith brand and thought they were very high quality. I always planted right on top of the old standing cornstalk rows and never, ever had a stalk get caught in them. In ridge till, I used have some moist soil buildup inside the factory gauge wheels, with the spoked gauge wheels that problem went away. Another side benefit is I could inspect the disc openers without removing the gauge wheels. My renter has them on his Kinzie planter and likes them.
