Subject: RE: Milwaukee cordless hammer drill

I have the Milwaukee M18 SDS Max rotary hammer drill, (2717-20). I routinely use it for drilling 1-3/8" holes for 1" EMT conduit. I generally start with a 1/4" bit, then come back with the 1-3/8" bit, allows for a straighter hole, and less of a blow out. They will drill through rebar, but you have to use the SDS-MX4-cutter drill bits, which are meant for drilling concrete with rebar. I have used these to drill through concrete flow, with a deck pan.
