I would run it in the strip till and combine tracks.  Typically the sprayer creates the most compaction, if you run on the planter pass your strip till will have more tendancy to pull sideways with the heaviest load being on the far end of the striptill unit.  

Use to try and control grain cart.  I gave up, with a tracked cart I don't think one pass makes any difference.  I'm opposite of most, I think repeated passes in the same area does do damage, you can make one pass and create almost no compaction.
