I can't speak for speed tubes, but we run have run spoked wheels on our planter and drill. We exclusively notill. I can see how a stalk could get in and stop it from turning, but we are 2 seasons in, and I can't remember a time that it happened. I would put them on again.
I've got 7 seasons on a planter with spoked wheels and brush belt, have notilled a lot of beans into cornstalks and have never pulled one out or had a wheel stop. |
