southern MN | History says greed takes over long before we get to those prices.
Everyone starts producing more.
As well the countries in conflict want to raise money and find ways to sell their oil to fund their efforts. One way or another. End up selling it cheap to get the cash.
Then as prices go up, folk start using a little less.
Look at grains, when it looked like Ukraine wouldn’t be able to sell a bushel of grain, we were led to believe Europe was going to starve, world stocks would drop to zero.
And here we are awash in grain, world grain prices are down what, 1/4 from pre-Ukraine war prices? Ukraine ended up moving its grain.
Certainly it’s a real thing, but the hype vs the reality is kind of entertaining. Prices are going to spike because of the hype and fear I know.
Anyone remember the 600 plus fires Red Adair put out?
