Southeast Colorado | We caught that surprise 10 to 12" snow somewhere there around January 8th in a 75 mile circle around us, and that is keeping the wheat green enough to not die right now. But it's still struggling. Probably still has full normal potential for another couple of weeks if some moisture finally falls. The abnormal warm days have used a lot of the moisture up though for sure. The wheat is big...........with tillers dying off...........so it's not real pretty green out there. | |
