I wouldn't try that, as I think it will be a mess for you. When they manufacturer it they stretch it as its rolled. I bought a couple of pallets from Polyexcel made in Utah. When they rolled it on tubes the operator wasn't watching and net didn't go to ends of tub. It didn't effect net roll but it effected the micro switch that told baler it had wrapped. It would buzz alarm not wrapped, but bale was wrapped and cut off. That was a JD 569 baler.

If I was me a person wants to buy not as wide net, just run net tube spacers to center smaller roll in a JD baler. NH baler is easy just shift washer and pins to center a smaller roll as well. I never ran cover edge net, would but the edge to edge net worked fine for us to take net off if bale stood on end.
