Subject: Short Season Corn in Texas

Is anyone in West Texas/Panhandle planting short season corn? Trying to plant corn early and cotton late split planting pivots to spread out peak water use. Traditionally I’ve had less than optimal results planting short season corn but didn’t know if anyone had any hybrids they would recommend or have experience with. Plant April first and be done watering early-mid July. 120-150 bu yield goal 3-4 gpm/A. Anything over about 107 will be hurt in the end cause it won’t be mature when I quit watering it.
