If you want to cut inflammation down, many of the doctors I follow would say eat mostly meat.

My wife is sensitive to nightshade plants. She can eat a little tomato but has to be careful with the amount. Guess what family of plants eggplant is in.

She used to eat some eggplant but not any more. I always despised it so we never had it that often to begin with, back when we did have it occasionally. I could never find any redeeming qualities about it, either taste or nutrition. A bulk gut filler and that's about it.
