I will add/use Metribuzin primarily for marestail residual control.   

In your Matador program, the Pursuit and Dual will do nothing for residual control of Marestail.

I have never seen issues with using Metribuzin, but then I don't deal with sandy soils either.  Most of the soils I deal with are 8-13 CEC, so they are not heavy soils - compared to some; but they are not soils with a CEC of 4,5,or 6 either.

I believe Metribuzin will add to other broadleaf weed control, but Marestail control is primarily what I use it for.  

For the record, Metribuzin is in the same chemical family as atrazine and simazine, in case you are not aware.
