Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan | A cautionary comment to share with respect to metribuzin.... it can be hard on young soybean seedlings and plants in sandy soils. We have experienced that in the past. We were using a rate of 5 oz..... which I don't believe is considered an excessive rate. But perhaps I'm wrong on that. Only saw an issue with the sandy soils of the field.
It was 8 or 9 years ago, so I can't remember what the weather was like at germination time. But I would assume cold temperatures would exasperate the soybeans being able to deal with metribuzin.
So you might want to check on that aspect too.
