Boone Co. Iowa
I see this as the scenario as well. Funds haven’t really been into the grains the last year or two - $ better spent in stocks and specifically tech stocks. We have had plent of grain last few years. U.S. trade with other countries has not spurred any need for grain worldwide. But corn demand in U.S. has grown I would say significantly.

We had huge acres, broke yield record by a bunch in 2025. If acres go down 4 million. And yield goes to a 5 year average, corn surplus comes back down to a nice number rather quickly.

I think if we have a planting hiccup, 2026 corn has some real room to run.

I am selling new crop into this rally, but thinking seasonal sales of April May June have real potential to be positive this year.

I ended up waiting all growing season 2025 for a decent corn market rally and ended up severely disappointed.

So, I am selling regularly on the way up but in small increments.

Corn and oil and gas prices have prettty strong correlation.

Read somewhere our national oil reserves isn’t really well-stocked? Oil prices probably gonna be key and I don’t have clue what they will do going forward.
