If the decision on whether you buy something or not depends on the bridge payment, you don't buy it. Simple.
That is a fairly stupid statement imo. Money is money. You upgrade and invest in infrastructure as you see fit...with the money you have. If you have a plan that you want to implement for your operation, how fast it gets done may depend on crop yields.... revenue. Revenue is revenue.
