Subject: Bed pack

North Western IL
Looking for a new way to bed pens with cornstalks. Been throwing the folks on the skid steer, driving in, lifting the bale, crawling out, cutting the wrap, crawling back in, and on to the next one.
I’d think there would be an easier way, other than a fancy artsway top spread. Would need to upgrade skid steers for one of those.

Would a grapple bucket work to set the bale down and rip most of the wrap off? Or a cheapo bale processor behind a tractor and blow it in?

I’d love a blower, so the cattle don’t have to be run out of the pen.

Interested to hear how others do it.
