| 0-6'' and 6-24'' are pretty standard around here. PK and micros tested in the 0-6, N & S in the 6-24. The question though is always how much of the N and S in the 6-24 will actually be usable before it washes away, rule of thumb for most is half. I've done 0-18 and 0-12 also either due to frost still being in the ground, cheapness, or sometimes laziness. Definitely some differences, but we have a shallow topsoil so it's usually pretty minor. | |
